Abubakr Ali is an architect, researcher and writer currently based in New York. He holds a Masters Degree in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University. More recently his work has focused on expanding “architectural knowledge” beyond its physical origins. His writing has also been featured in publications such as the New York Review of Architecture and Strelka Magazine.

For his work at Columbia University, Abubakr was awarded the Arguments Honor Award and the William Kinne Travelling Fellowship.
